
Aeroflot Expands Moscow-Istanbul Flight Operations
Russian airline Aeroflot is increasing its flight frequency between Moscow and Istanbul. Starting May 23, the airline will add a new evening flight, bringing the total number of daily flights to seven. This expansion will result in 49 weekly flights between the two cities during the summer season, marking a 17% increase compared to summer 2024.
In a statement, Aeroflot emphasized that the increased flight frequency will provide passengers with better connections for both domestic Russian flights and international destinations.
Aeroflot Group’s Istanbul-bound flights are not limited to Moscow; the airline operates flights from seven different airports across Russia:

✔ Rossiya Airlines serves Istanbul from St. Petersburg and Sochi.
✔ Pobeda Airlines operates flights from Moscow Vnukovo, Kazan, Makhachkala, and Vladikavkaz.
